It was a day just like every other day for most of the people however to Na-ra it was the day that she finally confess the feelings to seo-yul which she helded on for so long. She was scared she was, but she was more excited about it.

Just like most of the days seo- yul and Na-ra was walking through the forest to get to Dahnyeok and see cho-yeong however while walking through the trails Na-ra halt her steps nervously and the boy who was with her turns around confused.

" Na-ra, what is it? "

The boy asks confusion laying on his face as he looks down at the girl who is tightly gripping at her hem of the dress, the eyes which she squeezed shut for a second opens as she let out a deep breath and look upto the boy's face making contact with his pair of eyes which was confused by the girl's action.

" Yul-ah,... I have something to tell you.. "

Na-ra breaths out as she gulps down with nervousness filling in her chest however the boy was still confused about the whole situation.

" Oh, tell me. Is there something wrong??"

The boy inquires tensed by seeing the girl's nervous actions which he never seen before and in answer Na-ra nods her head aggressively signalling that she does have something to say.

" It's just that-you know - it's "

" Na-ra, tell me. Don't worry. "

" It's just that - i-"

The girl stuttered through her words not knowing how to say even though all night she was planning how to say it however in this moment her brain was all blank ( 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝙸 𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚎𝚡𝚊𝚖𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚕 ) even though all night she rehearsed the confession, seeing the boy who is coming closer and closer with little steps to her with anxious for her made her not knowing what to even say however at the end Na-ra squeezed her eyes shut and yelled.

" I LIKE YOU!! "

There was no reply at all not even a sound,all she hear was the sound of water falling to the rocks that were miles away the birds chirp I from the branches of the tree if you hear them well enough you could think that they were judging the people under them. Hearing nothing Na-ra opened her eyes which were squeezed shut and the sight she saw was.... Different than she imagined...

Seo-yul was just standing there without movement for a second Na-ra couldn't even recognize that is he still breathing seeing that he isn't even blinking for seconds until Na-ra called out to him.

" yul-ah? "

No response...

" yul?? "

Still nope...

" SEO-YUL?!? "

At that yell seo-yul snapped out from the daze and looked down at her eyes which she hard to hold still.The boy was shocked anyone can see that but Na-ra didn't knew was...

" oh? Yes? "

" like i said.. I like yo- "

" Na-ra -"

" Wait!! Hear me out first!.. Yul-ah, I like you.. I like you a lot. I have liked you for years now.. Because of others spoked ill of me from the back because of my family and the same persons spoke to me highly infront of me,also because of my family.  I never knew who to trust.. But you..you were the kindest soul I have ever met.. You took care of me and my brother and I like you because how much you were here for me and how much you started to feel like a comfortable place for me.. So ,yul-ah, I like you..and I wish to be with you my entire life. "

Na-ra breathed out as she confessed her feeling for him with a glimpse of light in her eyes but when she saw the boy's face after pouring out her heart she lost that glimpse in her eyes because what she saw in his eyes were not happiness rather it was pity... The emotion that
Jang Na-ra hated the most in her entire life.

Even If it was anger then she would have been glad but pitiness was a emotion that Jang Na-ra saw in most people's eyes when they met her. A pity for a kid who has nothing.. That pity which made her think that everyone is right.. She had nothing..

" Na-ra , I like... Cho-yeong.. "

That's it. That's was the word that shattered Na-ra's world into million of pieces. What? What's is he talking about? Cho-yeong? Why is he talking about cho-yeong? Why did he like cho-yeong? Does that mean he doesn't like me? But he like her? What should i do? These were the thoughts that walked upto Na-ra's head as she heard him. The boy had a guilty face not because he does not like her because of how he broke her just now.

" I wanted to tell you this today.. But... Na-ra -"

The boy spoke as he took a step to her but at the same time the girl took a step backwards away from him regretting that she just destroyed a friendship because of how she is. Sseing the girl's action literally breaked the boy's heart knowing nothing will make their friendship back to what it was now on.

" Na-ra -"

" when are you going to confess to her? "

" what?.. "

" when are you going to confess to her? "

The girl asked again but this time looking into the seo-yul 's eyes with a wide smile like nothing just happened before this seconds. The boy was confused anyone would be seeing the girl with a smile was reassuring until he saw her eyes.It was like something wad stolen from it maybe it was the little light that made everytime he was with her.

" I.. I don't know... "

" well then! Let's go, you should work on pursuing her then you know take some flowers which she like oh! I think it's the lillies!and -"

" Na-ra. "

The boy called out to the girl who was already a couple of steps infront of him babbling about everything but just not anything about what just happened. But in reality she was helding it in. She always had. She was trying to be happy in front of him, for the time in her life she was faking a smile in front to him and seo-yul wasn't really an idiot like others who trusted it and brushed aside.

" I'm sorry... If I ever gave you the signs that made you think that I liked you back.. "

The boy answered as he came upto the girl and apologized for something he was guilty of even though he never intentionally even thought of hurting the girl.So many people have confessed to him because of the perfect image and the handsomeness he had and he rejected every other with politness but this was different. This was his bestfriend that he is rejecting he knew that he just shattered her however there was nothing he could do.

" why are you sorry for? "

" oh? "

" I asked why are you sorry for?? Is it your problem that i mistook your actions?? Don't be sorry for something you shouldn't be.. Let's just forget this ever happened ok? Now let's go see her. "

The girl replied as she walked fastly away from the boy thinking maybe she could do this with her heart too but when every step she took to be away from him only made it worse. She wanted to cry. But most of all she don't anyone else to see it. Because that's the worst part of crying..
